Voice Chat Enabled!
Communicate like never before with friends and teammates during matches in any team-based mode!
What Is Voice Chat?
Voice Chat is a feature that allows players to interact with others while playing the game, using their voices. This helps teams coordinate their next move while playing any team-based mode, including squad battles, in Modern Combat 5. It makes it easier for players to communicate amongst themselves, and also helps teams work together better.
Setting It Up
Activate Voice Chat by going to Settings, then selecting Audio/GFX Settings, and turning on the Voice Chat switch. You can adjust the microphone volume as well as the Voice Chat volume here. Activation can be done from the main menu or during a match.
Once Voice Chat is active, the Voice Chat symbol (green microphone icon) will be visible during the match next to the mini-map. This is where you will see players' names pop up as you hear them speak.
To disable your microphone while still having Voice Chat active, tap the Voice Chat symbol. The symbol will turn from green to red, marking that the microphone is disabled.
To mute any player while in a match, tap and hold the scoreboard area. The players on your team will be displayed with the Voice Chat symbol in green. Tap the Voice Chat symbol corresponding to the desired player’s name to mute that particular player. Muted players will be shown with the Voice Chat symbol in red. To unmute a player, from the scoreboard tap the Voice Chat symbol next to the player’s name you wish to unmute.
